W08 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal

W08 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal This week’s topic about overcoming challenges really hit home for me. Sometimes I think we talk a lot about the rewards of being an entrepreneur the flexibility, the creativity, being your own boss—but we don’t always talk about the really tough parts. The videos and readings this week helped me see that facing challenges is actually a big part of the entrepreneurial experience. One thing that stood out to me was how common failure is in this journey. At first, it sounds discouraging, but actually, it gave me hope. It reminded me that it’s okay to mess up or struggle. What matters is how we respond and keep going. I’ve had moments in the past where I felt stuck or unsure of what to do next. This week helped me realize that those moments are normal, and they’re part of the process. Another thing I really appreciated was the message that hard times are where growth happens. I’ve always believed in learning from mistakes, but this week pushed ...

W07 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal

W07 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal This week’s lesson on the “7 Habits” really got me thinking more seriously about how I live my life and pursue my goals. Out of all the habits, the one that had the most meaning for me was “Begin with the End in Mind.” This habit reminded me that without a clear purpose or destination, it’s easy to waste time on things that don’t matter in the long run. As someone who is trying to juggle school, work, and long-term dreams, this really hit home. I realized I need to constantly step back and ask myself why I’m doing what I’m doing and if it’s truly leading me where I want to go. The 7 habits as a whole seem like a blueprint not just for success, but for a meaningful life. They emphasize both private victories  and public victories . When we start by mastering ourselves, we’re better prepared to serve, lead, and inspire others. That’s something I want for myself not just to succeed professionally, but to be the kind of person who up...

W06 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal

W06 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal This week really helped me understand what it means to be an entrepreneur not just in theory, but in real life. One of the biggest takeaways for me was that entrepreneurship isn’t all about money or success. It’s about solving real problems, staying true to your values, and being willing to grow and change. That idea stuck with me because sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in the dream of success without thinking about the work it takes to get there. The part about self-mastery really made me think. If I can’t manage my time, control my emotions, or stay focused, how can I expect to run a business or lead others? I’ve definitely struggled with procrastination and distractions, so this was a good reminder that becoming an entrepreneur means working on myself first. I also liked the video about The Entrepreneur and the Family. It reminded me that success doesn’t mean much if it comes at the expense of your family or faith. That really hit h...

W05 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal

W05 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal This week made me think differently about success. It wasn’t just about building a great business it was about becoming a person of character who serves others.  The readings from Mastery also made me reflect on how real growth happens. Success doesn’t come overnight it’s built slowly through discipline, practice, and perseverance. It’s comforting to know that mastery is more about long-term effort than instant results. I also liked the reminder in the video Most Entrepreneurs Are Not Rock Stars. We often see the flashy success stories, but most entrepreneurs are normal people who keep trying even when things get tough. That felt relatable and gave me more confidence in my own journey. Overall, this week helped me see entrepreneurship not just as a career path, but as a way to become a better person someone who lives with purpose and builds something meaningful.
