W06 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal
W06 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal
This week really helped me understand what it means to be an entrepreneur not just in theory, but in real life. One of the biggest takeaways for me was that entrepreneurship isn’t all about money or success. It’s about solving real problems, staying true to your values, and being willing to grow and change. That idea stuck with me because sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in the dream of success without thinking about the work it takes to get there.
The part about self-mastery really made me think. If I can’t manage my time, control my emotions, or stay focused, how can I expect to run a business or lead others? I’ve definitely struggled with procrastination and distractions, so this was a good reminder that becoming an entrepreneur means working on myself first.
I also liked the video about The Entrepreneur and the Family. It reminded me that success doesn’t mean much if it comes at the expense of your family or faith. That really hit home for me because I want to build something meaningful but not if it means losing sight of the people and values that matter most.
The Three Lessons video also stood out. It talked about being resourceful, resilient, and mission-driven. That’s the kind of entrepreneur I want to be. I know I have a lot to learn, but this week gave me more clarity about what I’m aiming for and what kind of person I need to become.
All in all, this week helped me shift my mindset. I’m not just learning how to start a business I’m learning how to grow into someone who can lead with purpose and integrity.
