W08 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal


This week’s topic about overcoming challenges really hit home for me. Sometimes I think we talk a lot about the rewards of being an entrepreneur the flexibility, the creativity, being your own boss—but we don’t always talk about the really tough parts. The videos and readings this week helped me see that facing challenges is actually a big part of the entrepreneurial experience.

One thing that stood out to me was how common failure is in this journey. At first, it sounds discouraging, but actually, it gave me hope. It reminded me that it’s okay to mess up or struggle. What matters is how we respond and keep going. I’ve had moments in the past where I felt stuck or unsure of what to do next. This week helped me realize that those moments are normal, and they’re part of the process.

Another thing I really appreciated was the message that hard times are where growth happens. I’ve always believed in learning from mistakes, but this week pushed me to take that even more seriously. It made me think about how I handle pressure and whether I avoid risks because I’m afraid of failing. I want to work on that.

Going forward, I’m excited to learn more about building a team and creating a solid foundation for a business. There’s still so much I don’t know, but for the first time, I’m not intimidated by that I’m motivated.

This week helped me realize that I don’t need to be perfect to be an entrepreneur. I just need to be willing to keep trying, keep learning, and not give up when things get hard.

W10 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal

  W10 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal One key lesson I learned is the importance of writing down goals. When I put my goals on paper, they become real and help me stay focused. I’ve started journaling my dreams and creating small action steps to work toward them. Looking ahead, I’m excited to learn more about how to turn my goals into a real plan.   W03 Reflection: Entrepreneurial Journal This week I started by taking a quiz about the material that I've been learning about for the past couple of weeks. They included a couple of lectures on how to start your own business and how to be a successful entrepreneur. This might sound funny to say but I realized that staying honest in the business world is harder than it sounds and way more important than I thought. One of the biggest things that stood out to me was how doing the right thing can sometimes cost you something in the short term, but in the long run, it builds real trust. That’s what really stuck with me from the Magdalena Yesil case. She didn’t just talk about ethics she actually lived it out in tough situations.
